At YarnCraft, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to love every purchase, and we stand behind the quality of our products. If you're not completely satisfied, we're here to help make it right.

Return Window

You may return most items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange. Items must be in their original condition, unused, and with original packaging and tags attached.

Eligible Items for Return

  • Unopened yarn skeins in original packaging
  • Unused knitting needles, crochet hooks, and tools
  • Craft supplies in original condition
  • Books and magazines in pristine condition
  • Defective or damaged items (any time)

Non-Returnable Items

For health and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened yarn skeins or wound balls
  • Cut fabric or partially used materials
  • Yarn tasting sets (unless defective)
  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Digital pattern downloads
  • Consultation service fees
  • Gift cards

How to Return Items

In-Store Returns

Bring your item with the original receipt to our store location during business hours. Our staff will process your return immediately.

Online/Mail Returns

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Receive return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Package items securely with original packaging
  5. Ship to the address provided (we'll provide a prepaid label for defective items)

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your financial institution to post the credit to your account.

Exchanges

We're happy to exchange items for different colors, sizes, or alternative products. Contact us to arrange an exchange. If the replacement item costs more, you'll be charged the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund the difference.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We'll arrange for a free replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs. Please provide photos of the damage to expedite the process.

Wrong Item Received

If you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days. We'll send the correct item at no charge and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.

Shipping Costs

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective product, etc.). Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless we provide a prepaid label.

Special Considerations

Dye Lot Variations

Yarn colors can vary between dye lots. We recommend purchasing enough yarn for your entire project at once. We cannot accept returns based on dye lot differences if you're purchasing additional skeins later.

Discontinued Items

If you're returning a discontinued item, we can only offer a refund, not an exchange.

Restocking Fee

Most returns are processed without a restocking fee. However, special orders, bulk purchases over $500, or items requiring special handling may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
